I am one of the Persian soldiers who survived the Marathon battle. This is one of the greatest battles in human history because we fought off the Athenians and we seemed to have lost in this battle, but we came for revenge.  I am one of the people who survived this battle and I’m here to tell the tale on how it all happen.

We were all ready for the battle. the feel of the weapons were kind hard to get a grip on but not really and really easy to get a good aim at there heads and harts. We can not lose. We landed 20,000 solder on the plain of the marathon.  We waited several days for the Athenians to advance.  Even though we waited, they did not take the bait.  While we have 20,000 soldiers them Athenians only had 10,000.  Our commander was tired of waiting so we sailed south so we can attack the Athenians directly.  The commander ordered our troops back on the ship but he made but he made a big mistake. he decided that the first that should aboard should be our horsemen.  You can actually taste the salty air from the ocean.  When the horsemen was out of fighting range, the Greeks charge down hill.You can  hear they’re yelling from miles away.  The Greeks caught our foot soldiers standing in shallow water when they were about to board the ship.  They were unable to defend themselves , we were defeated.  All i can see is body parts and blood falling into the ocean. The ocean water started to turn red because of the blood. 

Dear Mom and Dad,

I just wanted to tell you that my Sparta life has gone great. The government is very strong an powerful. We have two council men and only they can vote. My role in the society is cleaning like household duties. Life in Sparta is going awesome. While we Spartans have two council me and only men can vote.

Athens government was Known as the first democracy  on earth. They tried to be oligarchy like Sparta, but it didn’t go well . Around 600s BC the Athgens began to rebel the nobles. They were getting into serious destruction. But then in 594 BC the nobles turn to one man that can argue for both sides, that noble was Solon. Hows your life in Sparta doing too?

This week i learned how to find the Area of triangles and Trapezoids. We also learned  Perimeter and Circumference. And other stuff like Area of Rectangles, Squares, and Parallelograms.  Some of the things were kinda hard to do. But in the end i understand it.  Perimeter is the distance around a shape or an object.

Buddhism is a religion found by Siddhartha Gautama. This founder is Siddhartha Gautama is prince of Nepal. The teachings  may be seen as attempts to help people grow towards enlightenment.   importantly,  practice meditation, which is a way of developing more positive thoughts in the mind that are portrayed by calm, concentration, awareness, and emotions . Four noble Truths are very important to the Buddha because they say the Buddha’s fourth truth tells people they should follow the eight steps to eliminate suffering. The Eightfold Path is what Buddhism teaches that desiring causes all suffering in the world, and that the Eightfold Path is the way to cease suffering.   The Eightfold Path offers Buddhist is to cease suffering  and to grow towards enlightenment.

Even death is not to be feared by one who has lived wisely- what I think it means is that someone shouldn’t worry of dying who has lived a wiase life.   teaching fits in with calm and emotions.  This relates to Noble Truths   Also, it relates  to in the Eightfold Path.  I think of  really is that it can relief all stress and suffering in your life by meditating.  Buddhist can meditate for days or even weeks without eating or drinking.  I wish I can do Buddhism but I don’t want to be so into it that I give literary EVERYTHING away!!  But all in all, I think Buddhist are very SMART.

Confucius was one of those great chinese thinkers. He lived in china B.C. When the Zhou dynasty fell apart choas took over for two hundred years. People cutting of heads,murders, and more horrid things. Thats when confucius came into. He was important because he believed in peace can be found by duties. Children would owe thier parents honor and the parents would owe their children love. He traveld throught telling the government to follow his path of belief. He was teachin men with talents to helpp with the government. In my opinion my community were to follow his belif it would work for us.

In this post, I’m pretending that I am 65 years old and giving advice to my middle school self.

There are two sea monsters one is called Kelly and the other one is called Drew. They are twins. Kelly is a little older then Drew. They live at the bottom of the pacific ocean. On January 14,2011. Kelly is a nasty sea monster. She is always cranky very ugly and always smells like moldy cheese.  She is very TALL. Drew is nice,funny,and short. When ever they go out somewhere  they are always fighting. They fight because Drew thought that it was kellys falt that their parents left them when they were just born. Once they got into a big fight and drew got really hurt. 

Kelly is a bright blue sea monster and drew is also blue sea monster. Kelly is always sad because drew always blames her that she was the reason thier parenys left them. Kelly and Drew are over 20 years old. kelly is not a good sea monster. On the other hand Drew has a job and money. Their whole lifes they were followed bye this crazy fisherman. The mans name was crazy steave well thats what the other fishermen called him. Crazy steave wanted to capture drew and kelly  to prove to the other fishermen that sea monsters are really. So crazy steave followed around kelly and drew so he can learn there every move and that way he can catch them more easily.

One night crazy steave went fishing for kelly and drew he ended up catching them so there were kelly and drew’s parents. So drew told kelly that he was so sorry that all those years he would always say that it was her falt that her parents werent with them. And of course kelly forgived him. Together they were able to exscape from the trap and kelly,drew and their parent went after crazy staeve and the got to him and killed him  for distroying their family once and never do it again. So now drew and kelly get along.
